2 – Format

2.1 – Practice Race

2.1.1 – Day prior to each race meeting, launching at 17:00 GMT

2.1.2 – Same starting conditions as the race session

2.1.3 – 120 minute practice

2.1.4 – 10 minute qualifying 

2.1.5 – 30 minute race

 

2.2 – Practice

2.2.1 – 100 minutes

2.2.2 – 0% track usage

2.2.3 – In sim date and time based on section 7 of the rules

 

2.3 – Qualifying

2.3.1 – 30 minutes

2.3.2 – iRacing open qualifying (multiple cars on track at the same time)

2.3.3 – Teams are given a 10 minute slot based on their class. GTDs go out first, followed by LMP2s, with GTPs going last

2.3.4 – Drivers must not leave their pit box before their slot starts

2.3.5 – Drivers may complete the flying lap they’re on even if their slot ends during it

2.3.6 – Anyone gaining an advantage by being on circuit outside of their slot will receive a penalty

2.3.7 – Strict qualifying scrutiny

 

2.4 – Race

2.4.1 – 180 minutes

2.4.2 – Grid ordered by qualifying time. All cars in a single car class are gridded together

2.4.3 – Drive through awarded at 40 incidents, and at every 10 incidents after that

2.4.4 – The drivers who set their team’s best qualifying must start the race

2.4.5 – 1 fast repair

 

2.5 – Meeting Rules 

2.5.1 – Open setup

2.5.2 – GTP fuel tanks are limited to 80% capacity. LMP2 has no fuel restrictions. GTDs are limited to 90% fuel tank capacity

2.5.3 – Track usage is carried over from each session

2.5.4 – Time of day is set for practice. The other sessions will have the time of day carried over from the previous session

2.5.5 – Forecasted weather. This weather has all elements (including rain) generated by iRacing, taking into account in sim date and date along with the circuit’s climate

2.5.6 – The race format may be adjusted by the series admins

 

2.6 – Championship Rules 

2.6.1 – 6 meetings

2.6.2 – Each team’s lowest scoring round is dropped from their total score
