Wave Italy ARL Prototype Championship Season 3
We are pleased to announce the third season of the iRacing Wave Italy ARL Prototypes Championship! This season we have a big shake up coming as a new challenger enters the arena. Each meeting is going to be broadcasted live on the Apex Racing TV Youtube and Twitch channels!
We are once again delighted to welcome Wave Italy as the title sponsor of this series. Wave Italy was born to offer the highest experience in driving simulation to an ever wider audience, with the aim of transmitting the thrill of a real race to fans and professionals of eSports and Sim Racing. It offers extremely performing and realistic devices, which can also be used for corporate or private events.
Wave Italy themselves are offering €3150 worth of prizes for the LMP2 Class, whilst our good friends at Apex Racing Academy have £1416.62 worth of prizes in store for competitors in both cars.
This season, the Dallara P217 becomes the top dog on the racetrack, and joining the ranks is the exciting Radical SR8. The combination between the closed-cockpit LMP2 Dallara and the open-cockpit Radical, two cars with vastly different design philosophies behind them, is sure to make for some high quality action.
We will be visiting 9 classic venues including the new Red Bull Ring. All have been chosen keeping iRacing’s official series schedule in mind, as to help the drivers with race and setup preparation for each round.
Each meeting will consist of a 60 minute race, meaning pitstops will be necessary for everyone. All drivers will have a title to fight for, with a Pro, Am and Overall Team Championship to be decided in both classes.
