ARL Endurance Championship
Each round is hosted on European Friday evenings, with qualifying beginning at 17:50 GMT and the race launching 10 minutes later. Every minute of qualifying and the race, along with pre and post race coverage is streamed from the ARTV Esports Studio, delivering coverage at a level unmatched by any other iRacing broadcaster. Check out the ARA Porsche Cup broadcast on the right to view ARTV’s setup!
Six 3-hour long races are instore for participants, in which they can choose to tame any of the BMW LMDh, Dallara P217 or the 6 IMSA GTD cars (Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Mercedes). Live stewards are ready to administer penalties for unfair driving dishing out a mixture of drive throughs, time penalties and qualifying bans to ensure driving standards remain high. A minimum road iRating of 1,500 is also mandatory for all drivers, meaning there won’t be large differences in pace within classes
New for ARL are cash prizes. Providing a 60 car field is achieved, £1,500 in cash prizes are on offer, with each team champion earning £250, each runner up receiving £150 and each third place getting £100. Our normal prizes are on offer as well, with £1,100 worth of prizes in the form of SDK Gaming and ARA subscriptions up for grabs. Each team champion also gets their hands on a trophy!
We haven’t compromised on the calendar, picking only the best endurance circuits for the roster. The familiar Spa circuit will be a welcome launch for participants, followed by Watkins Glen (a week prior to iRacing’s 6 hours of the Glen). The fastest sportscar circuit in Europe hosts round 3 in the form of Monza (a week prior to WEC visiting) before returning state side for Road America (days prior to IMSA’s visit) and the rollercoaster that is Road Atlanta.
