Season 4 will start on Tuesday 14th June, concluding on the 30th August with 12 races, 3 formats, with the introduction of a new sprint format consisting of 2 x 30 Min races, along with this new format we will still see the traditional 1 hr format, and finally the 1 hr race with a reverse grid and points for qualifying. The mix of these 3 formats will add an other element to a great series , we are sure to have thrilling season with a variety of race winners.
Following the tracks run in the IMSA Hagerty iRacing series and VRS GT Sprint series, we will be racing at many iconic circuits including Silverstone, Spa and Red Bull Ring. All cars have their tanks limited to 60% capacity, so a pit stop will be necessary.
All drivers have a title to fight for, with 3 classes in the series – PRO, PRO AM and AM – along with the teams championship of course. The top drivers and teams from each championship will be fighting for top honours and some great prizes worth over £1890.
All 7 of the VRS sprint series GT3 cars are available to race, and with the series following the VRS and IMSA schedules, there should be setups and track guides available from whatever driver tuition service you are signed up to.
Join us on Tuesday evenings at 17:00 GMT, for a two hour practice, 10 minute qualifying and 1 hour or 30 min race. All rounds are of course broadcast by Apex Racing TV on YouTube who will chat to the drivers post race to gather their thoughts the race.
