5.1.1 – Must take the race start to score points in a given round.
5.2 – Point Systems
5.2.1 – Round 1-3 Championship points assigned based on overall finishing position after each round. Heat, Quarter Finals and Semi Final results are combined to create overall finishing positions/championship points.

5.2.2 – The top 4 drivers competing in the 3 race shootout at the end of each round score the below points for each individual shootout race. For example, finishing 3rd, 4th and 2nd in these final 3 races gives a total of 6 points. The points total of the top 4 in these 3 shootout races determine their overall finishing position, assigning them the championship points for the round using the system in 5.2.1 In the event of a shootout points tie, the finishing position of the last shootout race determines the order.

5.2.3 – Rolex 24 Daytona Grand Final. Points for the top 4 are reset to zero. Points scored in the Grand Final determine finishing position in the Main Championship. Points system details TBC.
