2 – Championship Format

2.1 – Practice

2.1.1 – 120 minutes

2.1.2 – 30% track usage

2.1.3 – Start time and date can be seen in section 7 of the rules

 

2.2 – Qualifying

2.2.1 – 10 minutes

2.2.2 – Open qualifying (all cars on track with one another)

 

2.3 – A Format

2.3.1 – Race 1

2.3.2 – 25 minutes in length

2.3.3 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

2.3.4 – A format points system

 

2.3.2 – Warm Up

2.3.2.1 – 5 minutes in length

 

2.3.3 – Race 2

2.3.3.1 – 25 minutes in length

2.3.3.2 – Grid ordered by race 1’s results with the top 6 inverted

2.3.3.3 – A format points system

 

2.4 – B Format

2.4.1 – Race 1

2.4.1.2 – 15 minutes in length

2.4.1.3 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

2.4.1.4 – B format points system

 

2.4.2 – Race 2

2.4.2.1 – 15 minutes in length

2.4.2.2 – Grid ordered by race 1’s results with the top 6 inverted

2.4.2.3 – B format points system

 

2.4.3 – Warm Up

2.4.3.1 – 5 minutes in length

 

2.4.4 – Race 3

2.4.4.1 – 15 minutes in length

2.4.4.2 – Grid ordered by race 2’s results with the top 10 inverted

2.4.4.3 – B format points system

 

2.5 – General Meeting Rules

2.5.1 – Open setup. Optional Apex Racing Academy setup available for those who use the coupon to sign up to the Academy

2.5.2 – 1 fast repair per race

2.5.3 – Drive through awarded at 16 incidents, and at every 8 incidents after that

2.5.4 In-sim time of day is carried over from each session to the next

2.5.5 – Track state is carried over from each session to the next

2.5.6 – Weather conditions for the start of practice will be the same as the ARA academy settings with 30 ongoing weather variance for all the sessions

2.5.7 1x time of day acceleration

 

2.6 – General Championship Rules

2.6.1 – 8 Meetings

2.6.2 – 20 Races

2.6.3 – Each driver’s lowest scoring meeting during the season is dropped

2.6.4 – Drop Scores only affect a drivers score not the teams score
