Racing Unleashed GT3 Series

A colossal prize pool with a free entry! The Racing Unleashed GT3 Series is welcome to all iRacers and offers huge prize money for both pro and am drivers. Featuring live stewarding, and broadcast from the ARTV Esports Studio, races start at 19:10 UK time on Sunday evenings every other week from the 28th of July to the 1st of December.

The top 5 in each of the pro and am divisions (which are decided by iRating, experience and past ARL results) win hundreds of euros at the conclusion of the season. With no entry fee, the series is a great chance for anyone to earn some money while competing in an enjoyable, competitive championship.

Most rounds of the season feature a single 1 hour race with pro and am drivers racing on the same circuit, albeit scoring points separately. At some rounds however, there are 2 races, the second having an inverted grid based on the race 1 results. There is a chance of rain at each round, although this will be randomised by iRacing, taking into account the time of year and location of the circuit. The forecast will be available for drivers to see days before the event. Live stewards watch for any driving standards violations, although drivers can protest incidents post race as well in case something was missed by the stewards.

Drivers can choose any of the 9 GT3 cars iRacing currently offer, including the recently released Corvette and Mustang. Any additions to the iRacing roster over the coming months will be made available mid-season however drivers will receive a penalty if they change car mid season.

10 of the best circuits on iRacing are chosen for this season’s schedule. We have tried to tie the circuits to weeks in the GT3 Sprint and IMSA Sportscars official series schedules though so GT3 regulars can be up to speed already for each round and datapacks are available from your chosen setup shop.

As we anticipate many more than 60 drivers to register, there is a pre-qualifying during the week before each round. These are available to enter at various times of the day and consider your fastest lap across the entire week. The top 30 drivers from each of the pro and am divisions qualify for the race on Sunday.

This was my first private competition and it was very very fun. I appreciated fighting on track against respectful drivers - this is the real added value of such a competition in contrast to the normal iracing races

I love the GT3 races in Apex Racing League. Always a big field of mixed abilities and everyone has respect for each other, teaching you great race craft

Thanks guys for a great call this season. Your production is second to none. It trumps the iracing official commentary teams IMO (I will invest in a decent mic and webcam for next season for the interviews)
